Clifford B. Crego, 85, of Winter Haven, Fla., died April 2, 1999 in Winter Haven, Fla. Born in Baldwinsville, he owned and operated an excavating business prior to retiring to Florida in 1979. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Irene Stevenson. Surviving are a daughter, Joyce Dwyer of Sodus; a step-daughter, Marsha Deming of Watertown; 2 sons, Peter of Kankakec, Ill., and Ted of Lemita, Calif.; a brother, William of Baldwinsville; and 5 grandchildren. Local services were held in the First Presbyterian Church, 64 Oswego St., Baldwinsville. Burial was private.
