MONTICELLO — Alonzo M. Alpha, 71, of Idaville, retired RCA employee, died at 7 a.m. Friday in White county Memorial hospital.
Born Jan. 7, 1895, in Vienna to James and Alice Malone Alpha. he was married in 1945. to Esther Henry, who died, last Sept. 17.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs, Eva Passmore, Camby; and Mrs. Agnes Everett, Scottsburg; two stepsons, Maurice Henry, Rossville, and Jack Henry, Idaville; and three step-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Burnettsville Masonic lodge. Final, rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Miller funeral home here. Burial will be in the Idaville cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
