News was received have yesterday of the death of Mrs. Fronie, widow of the late Jim Surrency, of Wayne County, near Screven.
She was buried Thursday afternoon at the cemetery at Red Hill church in that county. Mrs. Surrency had relatives in this county, among whom are, sisters, Mrs. Ida Clary and Mrs. Cora Wasson of Glennville; brothers, Messrs. Elliott Anderson of Collins; Henly, Allen, Claudius and Iva of Glennville; and Olin Anderson of Mendes. She also leaves one brother, E. E. Anderson of Kansas City, Mo.; and a sister, Mrs. Dave Dent of Wayne county and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Overstreet of Vidalia.
Her children are two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Poppell of Odum and Mrs. Ruby Dennison of Screven and four sons, Messrs. Ellis, Elvin, Eddie Surrency of Screven and Earl Surrency of Odum.
