Grace L. Hall, 94, of Chesterton, Indiana, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the Waters of Duneland.

She was born on Jan. 17, 1916 in Chicago, to Theodore and Sadie Dutcher, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn (Roy) Beatson of New Carlisle and a son, Delbert (Susan) Hall of Chesterton; five grandchildren, Kristen, Joanna, Scott, Michael and Amanda and two great-grandchildren, Riley and Hannah.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Carl in 1980, a daughter, Judy in 2002, two brothers, Edward and John and a sister, Charlotte.

Grace worked on the election board for 50 years, attended Liberty Bible Church for over 60 years, was a member of the Women's Christian Club and she was also a Keen Ager. Grace also delivered Meals on Wheels and she enjoyed crocheting. She was a 1930 graduate of Chesterton High School.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the White-Love Funeral Home, 525 South 2nd St., Chesterton. Burial will follow at Chesterton Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 8, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. at White-Love Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels or the VNA Hospice program of Porter County. For more information please call 219-926-1309.
