DEATHS

Abner B. Harnish, 316 South Frederick Street, Mechanicsburg, died Sunday night in Seidle Memorial Hospital alter an illness of one week. He was 87 yearn old.

For many years Mr. Harnish was a feed merchant in Mechanicsburg and was active in Sunday School work. For several years he held officers in the County Sabbath School Annotation and was one of the first county residents to receive the Fifty Year Award of the State Sabbath School Association.

A member of the Church of the Brethren, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ora Harnish Guinivan, Washington, D. C; two sons, Wilbur E., of the University of Illinois, and Clair F., of Hershey; three brothers, Harry, Carlisle, and John and Charles, both of Mechanicsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Newcomer and Mrs. Susan Strole, both of California, and Mrs. Fannie Reeder, Kansas, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Myers Funeral Home, with Rev. J. Lloyd Nedrow officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, near Churchtown.
