Aaron Keith Worthy, age 43, of Manchester Township, went to heaven Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at home. He was born in Lakewood, New Jersey, January 29, 1967. Aaron was a graduate of Manchester High School. Aaron was employed as a funeral home associate with various funeral services throughout New Jersey. He was in the profession for more than 30 years. He also served as a board member of Ocean, Inc.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Katherine Vanessa (Davis). He is also survived by his daughter, Arionne; his brothers, George Burke, Jeffrey Worthy, Kevin Worthy, Maurice Worthy, Bryant Worthy, Terence Worthy, and Rhys Worthy; his sisters, Valorie Hussein, Veronica Hudson, Denise Harris, and Crystal Metcalf; stepsons, Eric Womack and Malik Womack. Also, he was guardian to many members of his extended family.
Aaron was known as a community leader, supporter, and friend. He will be greatly missed.
Visitation will take place at Calvary Lighthouse, 1133 East County Line Road, Lakewood on Thursday, June 10 from 6-9 p.m. and Friday, June 11 from 10-11 a.m., followed by funeral services. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. Arrangements are under the direction of Ocean County Cremation Service.
