Obituary:
WILLIAM J. DOYLE, 61, New Florence, died Tuesday, March 14, 1989, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. A son of James J. and Edna P. Collins Doyle, he was born May 22, 1927, in South Fork. Mr. Doyle was a member of the Holy Family church, Seward; MeMMA. He was a retired supervisor of maintenance for R&P Cola Co., and had 43 years service with coal companies. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Irene T. Loder Doyle; two children: Mark, Berlin, Md.; Mrs. Donald K. (Janet) Shetler, Robesonia, four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James E. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Floren ce. Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Family Church, New Florence, Rev. John Wilt. Interment in Grandview Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be accorded by local veterans organizations.
