Neva Sophie Eitzmann, one of four children, was born to Julius D. and Martha Haack Schneider, January 19, 1908 at Nemaha county (sic), Nebr., and died March 12, 1970 (sic) at the Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital in Superior, Nebr., at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 21 days.

She was a member of the Martin Lutheran church (sic) and the L.C.W. She attended District 25 school in Nemaha county (sic) where she received her eighth grade diploma.

December 7, 1930, she was united in marriage to Otto Eitzmann in Auburn, Nebr. To this union six children were born. She lived most of her married life on a farm near Hardy and since her husband's retirement, she made her home in Hardy.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her sister, Nora Heints.

Survivors are: her husband, Otto; children, Eldon of Hardy, Loyal of Aurburn, Mrs. Stanley (Iverna) Lang of Edgar, Mrs. Burley (Genell) Copas of Beatrice, Roger of Sidney, Iowa, Mrs. Robert (Twila) Avey of Lincoln; two brothers, Mervin and Maynard Schneider, both of Johnson, Nebr.; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Services were held Thursday, March 15, 2:00 p.m. from the St. Pauls Lutheran church (sic) in Hardy, Pastor Dave Larsen officiating.
