Florence Jane Huntington (Brown)

Blanche Lucia Williams.

It has been rumored that Elizabeth was the first white infant to be born in Hillsdale County MI.

The remains of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Huntington who died in Toledo last Friday, arrived in the city Monday,accompanied by her two daughters, Mrs E.A.Williams and Miss Florence Jane Huntington (ALSO KNOWN AS MRS. GEORGE BROWN OF MARQUETTE MI.) and L. J. WILLIAMS of this city.The funeral was held from F.E.Case and Sons undertakers.The service was conducted by Rev. O.G. Thrasher of the Gratiot Avenue Baptist Church of Detroit,assisted by Rev. W.H. Rider of this city. Many of those who had known Mrs. Huntington during her long residence here were present. Miss Gertrude Wylie, rendered two hymns, The interment was made in Oakwood cemetery.
