Mr. Mostue was born Jan. 4, 1878 in Norway and came to this country with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martinus Hanson when three and a half years old. The family settled in Erhard Grove where he grew to manhood. He was confirmed in the Tonseth Lutheran church.
On Oct. 25, 1916 he was married to Gina Lyngstad and they moved to Maplewood to reside. In the 1930's they moved to Maine township where they lived until Mr. Mostue's health failed and they came to Fergus Falls to make their home. For the past five years Mr. Mostue lived at the Gearhart Rest Home in Battle Lake.
Surviving are his wife, and the following sons and daughters, Phyllix and Gordon of Fergus; Falls; Calmer and Harvey of Erhard; Mrs. Oscar Peasley (Norma), Mrs. Durwood Phillips (Gladys) and Mrs. Harry Kugler (Nora), all of Fergus Falls; and Mrs. Stanley Gordon (Myrtle) of Pengllly. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Weiss (Tina) Erhard and Mrs. Mary Nelson, Fergus Falls: also 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Tonseth Lutheran Church, Rev. A. T. Tjornhom officiating. Friends may call at the Gearhart Funeral Home.
