Notes: Birthplace: North Carolina

The old Ebenezer Lutheran Cemetery and the Fall Creek Union Cemetery adjoin each other. Ebenezer is to the north and occupies about 1/4 of the cemetery
Fall Creek occupies about 3/4 of the cemetery and is to the south. Some name/stones appeared in a 1960s listing, but cannot be found at this time. These records will show Ebenezer Lutheran/Fall Creek Union as the cemetery name. It is possible that they were located in the northwest corner of the cemetery. It is believed some stones in that area were washed into the flood basin with trees and other debris during a flood of Fall Creek.

Most of the families buried here are all descendents of seven families who came from Middletown (Frederick County) Maryland in the 1820s. They were members of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church at Middletown. Ebenezer's first preacher was a Rev Abraham Reck, who was pastor at the Zion church in Middletown until 1836.
