Lena Faye Blalock of Pleasanton, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born in Silverton to E. L. McNabb and Ima Estelle Parker on March 30, 1926. Lena worked with the City of Pleasanton for 28 years. She started as a dispatcher, then became a court clerk and eventually a municipal Court Judge. Lena is survived by her children, Rena Faye Bailey and husband Marshall of Hunt, Keith W. Blalock, Jr. and wife Linda of Harper, Elizabeth Eaton of San Antonio, Margaret Shelton of Pleasanton, Darrell Blalock and wife Senaida of Pleasanton and Shirley Wallace also of Pleasanton and brothers, Elvis Fleming and wife Menza, Carrol Fleming and wife Ona and Teddy McNabb. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Lena is preceded in death by her husband Keith W. Blalock; mother, Ima Estelle Fleming; father, E.B. Fleming; brother, Floyd Fleming and twin sister, Rena Maye Fleming. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 W. Oaklawn Road in Pleasanton on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm with family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will also be held at Hurley Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11:00 am, followed by interment at Christine City Cemetery.
