* Louis Herbert McFarlane, 64, died suddenly Monday at his farm home in Tittabawassee township. He was born Dec. 15, 1878, at Clover Hill, Ont., and came to Freeland with his parents at the age of eight.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Gordon Malecha of Midland and Mrs. Catherine Farison of Gladwin; a son, Elwood McFarlane of Saginaw; 10 grandchildren.
The funeral will take place at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Freeland Methodist church, with Rev. N. M. Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in Laporte cemtery. He may be see at the Taylor funeral home at Freeland until noon Thursday, and after 1:30 p.m. at the church.
