NATCHEZ - Services for Edna S. Crawford, 84, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Judson W. Hurt officiating.
Burial will be in the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Crawford was born Feb. 24, 1920, in Jefferson County, the daughter of the late Charlie E. and Zanie Eugenia Smith Sandifer. She was a member of Natchez First Baptist Church, Pilgrimage Garden Club as well as Musical Arts League, Natchez Historical Society and International Paper Company Quarter Century Club.
Survivors include her husband, Vic Crawford of Natchez; sons, Thomas Eugene Bates and wife, Carol, of Oxford, and Reggie Crawford of Natchez; grandchildren, Michael Cates of Deridder, La., Jodi Bates Andrews of Ruston, La., Lori Smart and Matthew Smart, both of Boulder, Colo.; three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; sister, Marge S. Bassett of Midland, Texas; nephews, Kevin R. Bassett and E. Scott Newman; and special cousin, Jeanette Balkcom.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bassett, Jay Crawford, Larry Bowman, Ken Moss, Will Nolan, Bill Lambert and Tom Carney.
Honorary pallbearers will be Preston Williams, Larry Crawford, Michael Smith, Ken Ensminger, Bryan Stringer, Ed Daly, Sid Cox, Ross Cox, Jon Campbell, and Jackie Andrews.
