LAST RITES HELD FOR WM. F. BUCHHOLZ
It hath pleased the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth, to call out of this vale of tears unto himself the soul of Mr. William F. Buchholz.
William Buchholz was born on July 1, 1873 in Dane County, Wisconsin to William and Wilhelmina Buchholz Sr.
When he was one and one half years old he moved with his parents, brothers and sisters to South Ridge. He spent the remainder of his years in this community.
On March 25, 1888 he was confirmed in Evangelical-Lutheran faith here in St. Matthew's Church on South Ridge. In this same church he was married to Augusta Noffke on April 11, 1901.
He passed away at his home in the Village of Wilton on July 11 at 10:30 in the morning.
He leaves to mourn his departure, his widow, his brother, Charles at Sparta, and his sister, Mrs. Louis Langfeldt of Columbus, and a host of relatives and friends. His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
He attained the age of 67 years 10 days.
Rev. Monhardt officiated.
Funeral services were from the home and the Lutheran Church on South Ridge. Interment on the South ridge Cemetery.
