Jacob was my 2nd Great-Granduncle.

He was the son of Samuel CAPLE, Sr. and Mary COLE.

He was married to Ruth Ann COLE on 20 Nov 1822, in Baltimore County, Maryland, USA.

Together they had ten children:

Sophia M., Mary Ann, William Henry, Samuel L., Joseph Cole, Jacob Webster, Ruth (1849), Nelson (1852), Florence (1856), and Francis CAPLE (1857).

Jacob served in the War of 1812, first in Captain Brown's Company from 26 Jul to 13 Oct 1814, and second in Captain Snowden's Company from 14 Oct to 14 Dec 1814.
