William Dean Anselmo born July 25, 1941 in Pueblo, passed away after a long battle with cancer at home in Reno, Nev., on Jan. 21, 2004, surrounded by his family. He was a loving son, husband and father. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Angelo Anselmo in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Sue; his parents, Jeanne and Frank Leonard, all of Reno; sons, Michael of Pueblo, and Timothy of Reno; daughters, Michelle (Rick) Tanga of Salt Lake City, Utah, Melanie (Brian) Taylor of Phoenix, Ariz, and Michelle Anselmo of Colorado Springs, Colo; stepdaughter, Rachelle Quigley of Reno; stepsons, Christopher Ardoin, and Justin Ardoin of Reno, and Samuel Ardoin of Petoskey, Mich; and 13 grandchildren. William was a Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. Funeral services were held in Reno. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Imperial Memorial Gardens in Pueblo with the Rev. Charlene Nimmo officiating.
