Paul L. Bryant
Age 46, Dies
Funeral Services to
Be Held Saturday
Paul L. Bryant, one-time employee of a number of local transfer firms, died at 8:30 o'clock Wednesday night at his home at 221 North Rogers Street. He was 46 years of age and had been in failing health for the past two years.
Death was caused by complications and followed a three weeks' critical illness.
The body may be viewed after 10 o'clock Friday morning at the Weir funeral home. Services then will be held at the Weir home at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. A. W. Harvey will officiate and Mrs. Leslie Peters will present musical selections.
Burial will be in Valhalla cemetery.
Mr. Bryant, who is survived by the widow, Mrs. Ruth Bryant, was a member of the Indiana Avenue Church of Christ and had been employed until two years ago by the Fred Figg Freight lines. Earlier he had worked for the B. B. and I. Motor Freight services and the Ross Fowler Transfer company.
Survivors, in addition to the widow, include the children, Mrs. Hazel Sexton of Bloomington, Keith Bryant of Ft. Harrison and Marilyn Rose Bryant of the home; the father, Lorenza, and the step-mother, Mrs. Lorenza Bryant, of Bloomington. Three half-brothers, Frank, Floyd and Wayne, all of Bloomington and four grandchildren also survive.

Chester Brummett, Henry Brosinger*, Joseph Hanson, John Tapp and Edwin and Allen Bennett were pallbearers at 2 o'clock this afternoon during funeral services for Paul L. Bryant, 46, who died Wednesday night at his home at 221 North Rogers Street. The rites were at the Weir funeral home with A. W. Harvey officiating.
Helen, Mildred and Merle Bennett, Gladys Isom, Geneva Hays, Louise Tapp and Vivian Cox were flower bearers.
Mr. Bryant, employed for a number of years with local trucking firms, is survived by the widow, three children, three half-brothers, the father and step-mother.
