Rites Held for E.C. Aldrich, 61, Nashua, Minn.

Edward Charles Aldrich, 61, Nashua grocery store owner, died suddenly in his store Sunday. Funeral services were held Wednesday in St. Gall's Catholic church at Tintah.
Rev. Williamm Wey officiated at the services and interment was in St. Gall's cemetery. The Jos. Vertin and Sons Funeral Home of Breckenridge was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Aldrich was born Aug. 21, 1899 in Ottertail county in Minnesota. He came to Nashua in 1903 as a small boy with his parents. He grew up in the Nashua community.
He has operated the Aldrich grocery in Nashua for the past 11 years. He served as village treasurer for eight years. He had never married.
He is survived by three brothers and three sisters, Jim and Joe of Nashua, George of Perham, Minn, Mrs. Frank Downey and Mrs. Fred Eyestone, both of Nashua, and Mrs. Catherine Downey of Breckenridge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
