Thomas Anderson Almand called Andy, second child of Willliam Tensley and Mattie Sue Noell Almand was born 14 Feburary 1921 at the old home( that burned) on Main Street in Comer, Georgia. On 22 February 1946 he married Werner Collins at the home of the Rev. R.E. Carter on Grady Avenue, Athens, Clarke County, Georgia on Friday at 7:00 P.M.. He died at his home in Dalton, Whitfield County, Georgia with his niece, Gail Hannah by his side.
