Mr. Aikey was born July 6, 1876 at Mifflinburg R.D. 2, where he spent his entire life, the son of the late Ephriam Aikey and Ellen Spotts Aikey. He was a farmer, retiring 12 years ago. He was a member of the Forest Hill Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Helen Ehrenzeller, Milton; a son George Meitz, California; a sister Mrs. James Aikey, Watsontown; a brother Merrill Aikey, Milton R.D.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services were held Saturday at 2 O’clock p.m. from the Forest Hill E.U.B. Church with Rev. William Warburton, pastor emeritus, officiating.
