GEORGE HARVEY MYERS, 76. of 135 4th Ave., Freedom, formerly of Altoona and Ambridge,died unexpectedly at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15,1981, in his home, following a heart attack. Mr. Myers retired from the American Bridge Company in Ambridge, in February 1966. He was born July 13, 1904, in Mountaindale, the son of Benjamin F. and Rebecca (Dlllen) Myers, and Sept. 1, 1934, in Hammond, Ind., married Marion Elizabeth Hamer. Surviving are his wife, two children. Franklin G. of Beaver and Martha E. Darr of Woodbridge, Va.; four grandchildren, three brothers, James Porter and Benjamin Clyde of Altoona and Charles D. of Wrightwood. Calif., and a niece, Rebecca (McKinney)Campbell of Gadsden, Ala.,who was raised in the home. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Jack Gross Funeral Home, Freedom.
