Euell was the son of Orville C. & Bessie (Burnett) McMillen.

His mother died in Dulce Township, Rio Arriba Co, NM, on October 17, 1928. His father's second wife was Una (Pigman) Bell McMillen. His father died on December 18, 1936, leaving him & his brother in the care of Una.

Euell married Earlene Henson. They had a daughter, JoAnn.

"McMILLEN- Euell Allen McMillen, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 1991, at the age of 67. He was born in Fullerton, California on June 14, 1923.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Earlene McMillen; and his brother, Armin McMillen. He is survived by his fiancee, Caroline Rice; daughter, JoAnn McCaleb; granddaughter, Jolen McCaleb; grandson, Lee McCaleb; aunt, mary Kuntz, all of Albuquerque, a sister, Virginia Storms of Lamar, Arkansas; three brothers, Shannon McMillen of Hermiston, Oregon, Orvill McMillen of Payson, Arizona, and Valdon McMillen of Chelsea, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews and other family members.

Euell was in the 925th Engineers Aviation Regiment in WWII, and he worked at the V.A. Hospital in Albuquerque for 27 years.

Euell was a very strong, caring father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by many.

Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne, 1100 Coal SE. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne, 1100 Coal SE with Dr. Edwin L. Chappell officiating.

Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lee A. McCaleb, Kenneth E. Henson, Allen Lee McMillen, Ira Ray McMillen, David V. Culp, and Walter F. Seeman. Honorary pallbearers will be Collin M. Hinds, Dennis F. Pardue, Ray L. Arranda, Charles K. Consolly, Tom A. Rainey, Leonard Tabaka, and John Lord.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wayne Shirey Scholarship Fund, Bee County College, 3800 Charco Road, Beeville, TX 78102"
