Mrs. Lummus was born in Jewett on Sept. 8, 1924 to Tom and Winnie Ferguson Story, both of whom preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother and her husband, James Lummus.
Her survivors include her two sons; James and David Lummus of Shepherd; two daughters, Sandra Stanley of Shepherd and Phyllis Presswood and spouse Todd of New Caney; four brothers, Odell, Aubrey, Jim and Hubert; six sisters, Faye, Mary, Bernice, Moisell, Effie and Virgie and eight grandchildren.
