SUDDEN DEATH
Well Known Oregon City Lady Stricken Wednesday Night

Mrs. Elizabeth Vonderahe, wife of Henry Vonderahe, died Wednesday evening about 6 o'clock at her home in Kansas City Addition.

Mrs. Vonderahe had been in the hot sun during the afternoon and becoming overheated she went into the house and ate some ice cream. Shortly afterward she became ill. Medical aid was summoned but her condition was so severe that it was impossible to do much for her. She was perfectly conscious a few moments before her death.
Mrs. Vonderahe was one of the oldest residents of the city and had a large circle of friends and acquaintances here. She was born in Macksburg, Oregon, November, 1870 and came to this city many years ago, where she has since resided.

Besides her husband, Henry Vonderahe, she is survived by four children; Edward, Kate, Alma and Marie; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Schram and Mrs Mary Percifal; six brothers, John, William, Philip, and Chris Weismandel, all of this city and Louis Weismandel of Portland and Charles Weismandel of Carus.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

**Elizabeth "Lizzie" Weismandel married Ernest Henry Vonderahe at Molalla, Clackamas, Oregon on June 25, 1891. Lizzie died in 1911. Ernest married Eugenia Smith on May 7th, 1914 at Vancouver, Washington and remained married until their deaths in 1943 and 1944.
