Her home was located at 1823 Belmont Road, NW in Washington, DC. Back in the day, the area was known as Washington Heights, an upscale inner-city suburb. Like all of urban America, it "went downhill" to a certain degree around the middle of the twentieth century. Now the area is fully gentrified and a typical 100+ year old 3-story brick and stone rowhouse will sell for probably about $2 million. 1823 Belmont has now been replaced with something less attractive than the original house was. The house on the corner, 1802-04 Belmont Road, was used as Clint Eastwood's character's apartment in the movie "In the Line of Fire."

He is listed in the database as A. S. Kimball, so the main info booth has trouble giving directions to this location. They are buried next to Abner Doubleday. At the corner of Meigs and Humphreys, just behind Baird.
