Son of Thomas Jefferson Burdett(e) (1814-1875) and Almedia Catherine Murphy (1815-1893).

Thomas married first, Margaret Aurelia "Aurie" Fling on 12 December 1867 in Lone Oak (southwest Luthersville), Meriwether County, Georgia. After Aurie's death, he married Mrs. Martha Madora "Dora" (Nixon) Swygert on 1 February 1888 in Senoia, Coweta County, Georgia.

T N Burdett, Griffin, Ga.

Griffin, Ga., October 10--(Special)-T. N. Burdett died at his home on North Hill street at 8 o'clock last night after an illness of four weeks with fever. Mr. Burdett was about fifty years of age and had for years prior to his death been a railroad contractor and was in Alabama at the time he was taken ill. The remains will be carried to Harralson for interment.
