OBITUARY

Funeral services for Blanche Agnes TRAVIS, 74, a Follett resident who died June 29, were held July 1 at the Follett Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in the Fairmont Cemetery in Follett under the direction of Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Shattuck, Oklahoma.

TRAVIS was born February 22, 1912, in Catesby, Oklahoma. At age six, her family moved to Arnett. On July 23, 1932, she married Glen TRAVIS n Arnett and they made their home in Follett where they farmed.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Follett.

She is preceded in death by her husband in 1976, two brothers, three sisters, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Glena CANTRELL of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; and Kay SMITH of Follett; Alen TRAVIS of Rockwall, Texas; two brothers, John BURKE of Follett and Ralph BURKE of Long Beach, California; a sister, Jewell McFARLAND of Carson City, Nevada; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
