1939-Mrs. A. Herman, a resident of New Rochelle for almost her entire lifetime, 74 years. A native of New York City, she was born Jan. 16, 1865, the daughter of the late Francis and Magdalena Herman Hollenweger, and came to New Rochelle as an infant. She was married to Frederick Herman who survives her, on Nov. 24, 1886 in old St. Paul's Methodist Episcopal Church which at that time stood at the corner of Webster and Union Avenue. Surviving in addition to her husband, are three children, Miss Emily M. Herman, and Elbert C. Herman of New Rochelle; and Mrs. Granville A. Cooper of Price, Utah. Mrs. Francis Hollenweger, of New Rochelle, a sister-in-law also survives.
