George W. Terman 85, retired Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Co. machinist, died at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday in his home, 89 N. Cedar Street after four weeks illness.
He was born near Fallsburg, Aug 4, 1864, the son of William and Martha (Jones) Terman and was the last of his family.
Mr. Terman, who had been retired a number of years, was a charter member of the First EUB Church and also a charter member of Newark Lodge, Knights of Pythias.
He had resided in Newark most of his life and is survived by his widow, the former Lettie Henderson.
The body is at the Householder Funeral Home where the Rev. A.B. Cox will officiate at services at 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
