Daughter of the late Edward George and Anna Peetz Knost, she was employed as an instructor in customer service for the Southwest Bell Telephone Company in St. Louis, MO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters; three brothers, and friend, Agnes Haynes. She was survived by several nephews and nieces, friend, Doris Batson; and an extended family of relatives and friends. She enjoyed photography, gardening, and was an avid sports fan, especially the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.
