She was born and reared in Longview. She joined the Baptist church in 1930 during the first revival held at Northcutt Heights mission. As a child she attended regularly the girl's auxiliary, Sunday school, training union, and prayer and church services. As an adult, she was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church. She bore her illness with Christian fortitude and faith.
She is survived by her parents, Floyd Seaborn and Pauline Marie Deutsch Adams; three brothers, Seaborn, Carl, and James Hubbard Adams; three sisters, Dolly Devine, Marie Woods, and Floydie Mae Frost; her paternal grandmother, Sarah Adams; her maternal grandparents, John and Rosa Marie Deutsch; and five nephews.
*** She had been married to an Albert Moore; however, they were divorced and she reverted to her maiden name.
