Married 01 Jul 1926 Lula Belle Breeden who died 31 Jan 1984. Sons, Charles Roy, Nelson Ray, William Edward & Earl Burnett Cave all of Stanley & Glen Leo Cave of Sperryville. Daughters, Effie May Ryder of Stanley & Edith Virginia Gordon of Etlan. Sister, Nealie Jane Breeden of Stanley. 8 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren. Burial in family cemetery at Dark Hollow.
