Harriet Died two weeks after the birth of her son Charles Riley Burlingame. Charles was born on th 6 of June 1852 in Little Sandy Nebraska. The county and town are an estimate of how far the wagons would have made in two weeks. The family continued on to Oregon after Harriet's death. We only know she was buried and that they moved on like so many others that traveled the trail.
