Services At Brownsburg Church
Funeral services for John F. Dugan, age 60 years, who was killed apparently by a hit run driver in U.S. Highway 52, will be held Saturday morning at nine o'clock at St. Malachy's Church at Brownsburg. The Rev. Father Shea will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery at Indianapolis. Mr. Dugan's body was found by truck drivers five miles south of Lebanon at 2 a.m. Thursday. The body was removed today from the Lawler funeral home to the home of a sister, Miss Kate Dugan, near Brownsburg, where friends may call.
Mr. Dugan was born in Hendricks county, a son of Martin and Mary (Mullen) Dugan, both natives of Ireland. He was unmarried and made his home with his sister, Miss Kate Dugan, northeast of Brownsburg. Since the first of the year he had been staying in the home of his niece, Mrs. Maurice Noland and Mr. Noland, south of Lebanon. He was a member of St. Malachy's Catholic Church at Brownsburg.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mary Hogan, Miss Kate Dugan, and Mrs. Delia Roach, all of near Brownsburg.
