Neeses - Services for Roscoe C. "Ross" Gleaton, 55, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Neeses Baptist Church. Interment will be in Neeses Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the American Heart Association. Mr. Gleaton died Wednesday, March 1, 2000. Born in Orangeburg Co., he was a son of the late Ollin S. and Lillie Mae Tyler Gleaton Sr. He was a graduate of Norway High School. He was a member of Neeses Baptist Church, a former member of Neeses Town council, a former deacon of Neeses Baptist Church, and a former Boy Scout leader. He was a retired home builder and mechanic. Surviving are his wife, Diana Hughes; daughters, Olivia Hughes, Emma Hughes, both of Neeses, Laura E. Davis of Pine Hill; sons, John Douglas of Neeses, Mark C. Gleaton of San Francisco; stepdaughter, Candice Hughes of Atlanta; stepson, Michael F. Hughes of Falls Church, Va.; sisters, Kay G. Arant of Summerton, Tillie G.
