His father, Benjamin Wesley Phillips was born 28 May 1831 in Alabama and he died 14 August 1904 in Benton Co, Lowell County, AR. His mother, Eliza (Creelman) Phillips was born 23 November 1849 in Pennsylvania and died March 1884 and is buried in the Phillips Cemetery, Lowell, AR.
Charley made a trip out to Washington state in 1906 but returned to Arkansas.
When he married Lucinda Anderson 31 December 1908 in Lowell, Benton County, Arkansas, they then moved to Bluestem, Lincoln County, WA.
In 1916 he bought a home one mile east of Harrington. His wife died in 1967.
He died suddenly at his home.
They had three children:
Emmett A Phillips
Elizabeth Irma Phillips Colbert
and
Donald Webster Phillips
