Agnes Leona Moody Constance, who enjoyed 98 years on this earth, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 16, 2008 at her residence. She was a native of Haywood Co. and the daughter of the late Walter Scott Moody and Maggie May Pruett Moody. She was married to Homer V. Constance who preceded her in death in July of 1994. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Orr, Dorothea Adale Beasley, and Laura Jane Odom all of Robbinsville; and sister, Mattie Dunn of Asheville, NC. She has 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 18 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the Townson-Smith chapel. The Reverends Jack Millsaps and Tommy Hooper will officiate. Burial will be in the Valley Town Cemetery in Andrews, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Wednesday at the chapel prior to the services. Townson-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
