Effie Moyer, 81, 4110 E. Michigan St., Indianapolis, Ind., died at her residence over the weekend. She had resided there for many years.
She was born Nov. 17, 1906, in Decatur County, the daughter of Holman and Louisa Owens Scripture.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Moyer; one brother, Ira Scripture, Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Everett and Clint Scripture, and three sisters, Alpha Grimes, Icy Patrick, and Bertha.
Graveside rites were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Burks Chapel Cemetery, Decatur County. Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
