Funeral services for Annie Holder, 89, of Lubbock will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with Danny Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven's Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Lubbock.

Ms. Holder passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at Heritage Oaks Nursing and Rehab in Lubbock. She was born Oct. 24, 1914 at Sargent, Ga. She married Norman Holder on Nov. 23, 1954 at Douglasville, Georgia. The couple moved to Lubbock from Douglasville in 1959. She was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman, on March 6, 2001; and by three daughters, Faye Akin, Evelyn Newton, and Melba Schumake. She is survived by two sons, Danny and Richard Holder, both of Lubbock; three daughters, Mary Lou England of Douglasville, Ga., Barbara Mabrey of Temple, Ga., and Joyce Williams of Lubbock; a sister, Elizabeth Chaney of Tallapoosa, Ga.; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchild ren; and 33 great-great grandchildren.
