OCEANA -- Agnes "Boots" Stinnette, 68, died Monday, March 11, 1996, in a Beckley hospital following a long illness.
Born Aug. 7, 1927, at Buffalo Creek in Logan County, she was the daughter of the late James Wilbert Osborne and Curtle May Smith Osborne.
Mrs. Stinnette was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ed Stinnette; three brothers, Shorty, Eugene and Charles Osborne and a sister, Anna Ruth Osborne.
Survivors include three daughters, Patty McCoy of Kopperston, Dolly Thompson of Glen Fork and Debbie McCoy of Pineville; a son, Danny Williamson of Oceana; a sister, Dorothy I. Osborne of Matheny; a brother, Robert L. Perry of Oceana; 13 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Evans Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Rollins and Dwight Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery, Oceana.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers.
