Earl had been a Salina resident for 25 years. He was the superintendent of the Salina Board of Trade building since it opened, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church and VFW Post 1432.
Survivors included his wife, Lois H.; two sons, Gary and Jim; a daughter, Sheryl McKinney; two grandchildren; three brothers, Elmer, his twin brother, and Ed and Bill McKinney; and three sisters, Mrs. Ann Switzer, Mrs. Ethel Abell and Mrs. Agnes Gouvion.
