Florence Herman,76, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000, in Guttenberg (IA) Municipal Hospital after a short illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, by Monsignor John McClean. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeri Geuder of Guttenberg; and a sister, Lil Barnhart of Dubuque (IA).

Services for Florence Herman, , of Guttenberg were conducted by Msgr. John McClean at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Guttenberg.
Mrs. Herman died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2000 at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.
Visitation was Tuesday at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.
Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, Guttenberg, with the following pallbearers. Julius Barnhart, Mike Geuder, Mark Herman, Jay Fishback, Jim Herman and Shawn Herman.
Florence Herman was born May 6, 1923, on the family farm near Osterdock, daughter of Marvin and Flora (Bond) Hunt.
Florence received her education locally; worked for the Enderes Co., American Pearl Button Co., and was a homemaker for many years.
On May 10, 1941, she was united in marriage with Loren W. Herman at St. Mary Catholic Church in Guttenberg.
Survivors include one daughter, Jerri Geuder of Guttenberg; three grandchildren, Doug Jr. and Karen Geuder (Dave Schlueter) and Dean (Angie) Geuder; two great-grandchildren, Connor and Madison; one sister, Lil Barnhart of Dubuque, and many friends.
Her parents; husband; one brother, Don Hunt, and one son-in-law, Doug, Sr., preceded her in death.
