Bessie Lucille Redfearn, 67, of Denton died Monday, April 3, 2006, in Denton. She was born Oct. 15, 1938, in Sanger to Pleas and Bessie Vella Jones Vaughn. She attended Sanger public schools and beauty school. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Sanger and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be Friday, April 7, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with the Rev. John Stout officiating. Burial will follow at Sanger Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cliff Neubaum, Josh Hall, Brett Hutson, Kenneth Nelson, Clint Watts Jr., Dale Redfearn and Joe Redfearn.

She is survived by daughters, Celia Redfearn of Collinsville, Anita and husband Don Statum of Sulfur, La., Anna Allgood of Delight, Ark., Teresa Edwards of El Paso and Jacqueline Villa Lobos of San Diego; sons, Doyle and wife Beverly Redfearn of Denton, Curtis and wife Mendee Redfearn of Lampasas and Tommy and wife Cindy Edwards of Lake Charles, La.; sister, Gladys Green of Denton; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Kondo; a brother, Dean Vaughn; and a sister, Anna Mae Neubaum.
