Mrs. Lucy Chrane died at the home, 418 Vine Street in Abilene. Services were held in the Dudley Church of Christ conducted by F.B. Sheppard of Abilene, minister of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Chrane had lived in Taylor County all of his life. She attended school at Lytle Cover and in Abilene. She married George Chrane in 1906. Survived by her husband; five children - Leo, Troy, Odelle, Oletta, and Wanda June Chrane; her parents - Mr. and Mrs. D.E. Coffman; four brothers - D. Coffman, J.D. Coffman, J. Frank Coffman, J. Lee Coffman; two sisters - Mrs. L.L. Atchley, Mrs. Owen Holly. Mrs. Chrane's passing was the first death in the family since 1904.
