Ilean Layton
Ilean Layton, 81, of Yellville died Friday (June 6, 1997) at Marion County Nursing Home in Yellville. Mrs. Layton was born Dec. 10, 1915, at Bruno and was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Oma Coleman Kyles. She was married to John Henry Layton on June 7, 1980. She was a housewife and a lifelong Marion County resident. She was preceded in death by her husband and both parents. Survivors are a daughter, Linda Carol Fletcher at Littleton, Colo.; three sons, Billy Clyde Layton of Yellville, Bobby Lee Layton of Yellville and Russell Dale Layton of Alpena; two sisters, Ruby Cox of Ozark, and Dorothy Stewart of Irvine, Calif.; one brother, Arvil Lee Kyles of Tulsa, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with John Dillard officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tommy Lee Layton, Kirk D. Layton, Doug Layton, Randall Layton, Chris Fletcher, and Kent Goodall. Honorary pallbearers are Kyle Dillard and Larry Layton. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to Marion County Nursing Home Van Fund.
