Services for Frank F. Vosburgh, 86, of Old Niagara Road will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Christ Episcopal Church, Rochester Road and Fieldcrest Drive. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Vosburgh died Sunday (March 26, 1989) in Lockport Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A 30-year veteran firefighter for the City of Lockport, he retired as a captain and previously was a foreman for 12 years at the Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors Corp. He was a former supervisor of the 2nd Ward. Active in the Lockport area in semiprofessional football, he managed the former East Ends and City Service football teams and also played with several teams. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and had been a member of Aerie 825, Fraternal Order of Eagles. Vosburgh was the widower of the former Ruth E. Stillman. Survivors include four sons, Robert A. of Phoenix, Ariz., Frank F. Jr. of Medina, John H. and Simon; a daughter, Avis Donner; two sisters, Mary Schmidt of Lindenwold, N.J., and Ida Mae Bagley; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
