ELI GAUGER
TREMONT - Eli Gauger, 80 of Tremont, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 1975, in St. Francis Hospital, Peoria.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Delavan Baptist Church. Rev. Randy Gauger, pastor of the Delavan Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens Pekin.
Friends may call at the Davis Mortuary from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday and at the church one hour prior to services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Delavan Baptist Church, of which he was a member.
Mr. Gauger was owner and operator of Gauger Service Station here from 1929 to 1961 when his son purchased the business.
He was born Oct. 30, 1895 at Tremont, a son of Phillip and Lydia Unsicker Gauger. He married Hazel Pfeiffer Sept. 10, 1919 at Pekin. She survives.
in addition to his wife he is survived by a son Wallace of Tremont; two grandchildren, Randy and Jill; two great grandchildren; a brother, John of Peopria; and a sister, Mrs. Lydia Fawer of Pekin.
Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
