Ann married Frederick "Fred" Francis Niefert on Feb. 22, 1913. They were Vaudeville performers with "Fischer's" a traveling road show company billed as "Stowe's- Worlds Best Uncle Tom's Cabin" until about 1930. By then radio and the movie industry had put vaudeville out of favor. The shows were performed throughout the East & Midwest. Fred died unexpectedly in 1935 and she later remarried to Robert Jay Alexander until he passed on August 5, 1947. In later life she worked at the Peacock Inn a once historic inn & restaurant in Mayville, NY. Twice love lost, Ann is buried next to Fred.
