Funeral services were Saturday for
Newell A. Brewer of Battle Ground, a
retired employee of Purdue University.
Mr. Brewer died Thursday, April 19,
1979' at 7:25 a.m. in Home Hospital,
Lafayette, where he had been a patient
since Sunday and in failing health
several years.
His parents were Aaron and Minerva
Holloway Brewer.
He was a native of Carroll County and
had lived in the Monticello area and in
Battle Ground the last 40 years.
He married Eva Irene Lontz in 1918
who died in 1968.
Survivors include three daughters,
four sons, three sisters, three brothers,
22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Burial was in Idaville Cemetery.
